clJRR: Class - Jelly Roll Rug

The 2.5" strips will need to be sewn end to end before class. Sew them with a diagonal seam not a straight across seam. Bring to class.

Supply List
What to bring:
*working sewing machine that will sew at least a 5mm wide zigzag hopefully with a side table to machine
*basic sewing supplies: small scissors, seam ripper, etc
*clover wonder clips
*size 16 denim needles (please bring more than one. Needles break and get dull)
*rotary cutter, small ruler and small cutting mat
* cotton thread at least 1200 yards
*Jelly Roll or 40 2-1/2" strips of fabric by WOF - Sew the strips together END TO END into one long strip. Roll into a ball for easier use.

*Jelly roll rug pattern Roma Lambson
*Jerry's Jellyroll Jig or Clover wonder clips (optional)
*Bosal Katahdin On-A-Roll (or 1 2/3 yard of 100% cotton batting cut into 2 1/2" or 2 1/4" strips and batting seam tape)
*aurifil thread 50 weight 1200 yards to blend or contrast with your fabrics (optional)
*one of the lovely jellyrolls at the shop (optional)
