clkc101: Class - Kids Camp Beginners 101 Ages 8-13 years old

If you would like to have your daughter or son learn how to sew, we have a beginning 3 day sewing camp for boys and girls.
We will meet July 10-12, 2019 from 9am-12pm. On the first day they will learn about their sewing machine, including how to thread, wind a bobbin, and clean their machine.  They will also be learning basic sewing skills which they will use the next 2 days. They will also receive a tool kit which will be used throughout the 3 day course.
The second day they will be making a pillowcase. We will have several fabrics they can choose from to make the pillowcase and a coordinating bag the next day.
The third day they will be making a draw string backpack.  These projects are from the book I SEW FOR FUN by Nancy Zieman. At the end of the course each student will take home a book which is filled with wonderful future projects, and their tool kit in their drawstring bag!
