Class - Kids Camp Beginners 8-10 years
If you would like to have your daughter or son learn how to sew, we have two beginning 3 day sewing camps for boys and girls by age.
Ages 8-10 will meet from 9am-noon on Wednesday July 11-13. A snack will be provided.
On the first day they will learn about "THEIR OWN" Baby Lock BL-9 sewing machine. That's right - they will be learning basic sewing skills on this machine that will be theirs to work on and take home.They will also receive a tool kit which will be used throughout the 3 day course.
The second day they will be making a pillowcase. This will be a fun class as they construct their own pillowcase. We will have several fabrics they can choose from to make the pillowcase.
The third day they will be making a draw string backpack. They will again be able to choose their fabric from our selection. These projects are from the book I SEW FOR FUN by Nancy Zieman. At the end of the course each student will take home a book which is filled with wonderful future projects, and their tool kit in their drawstring bag!
The BL9 sewing machine is a great machine for beginners to learn with. It is a manual machine with 9 stitches which includes a buttonhole stitch.
This is a great size for the younger ones to carry to future classes, at home or at the grandparents house.
The cost for kids camp is $225 so they receive a BL9 sewing machine, 2 projects completed in class, a tool kit and a book with future projects...What a deal!
We only have 6 spots available for each class, so sign up quickly.
Payment is required at sign up and is Non Refundable. Should your child not be able to attend after registration, you will still get the machine, tool kit, and fabric for the projects, just not the Kids Camp Class instruction.

Requirements:
Ages 8-10 only. Limited to 6 kids. Each kid will be required to act accordingly or will be asked to leave. No rough housing and must be able to take direction.
